Installing ProGrids #
Step 1: Install Unity3D ProGrids
To install Unity3D ProGrids, follow these steps:
- Open the Unity Editor and go to the Asset Store window.
- Search for “Unity3D ProGrids” in the Asset Store search bar.
- Click the “Import” button to download and install the package.
Step 2: Enable ProGrids
Once the installation is complete, you can enable ProGrids by following these steps:
- Go to the Unity Editor menu bar and click on “Window”
- Select “ProGrids” from the dropdown menu
- The ProGrids window will appear, enabling you to turn on the grid and start using it in your scene.
Step 3: Place Objects with ProGrids
To place objects with ProGrids, follow these steps:
- In the Unity Editor, select the object you want to place in the scene.
- Use the ProGrids snap settings to align the object with the grid.
- Move the object to the desired position and release it. The object will automatically snap to the grid, ensuring it is accurately placed.
Step 4: Adjust ProGrids Settings
You can adjust the ProGrids settings to suit your specific needs by following these steps:
- Go to the Unity Editor menu bar and click on “Window”
- Select “ProGrids” from the dropdown menu
- In the ProGrids window, you can adjust the grid size, snap settings, and other options to suit your needs.
