Unity Hub Add Modules Troubleshooting #

If you’re encountering the issue where you can’t add modules to a specific version of Unity3D through the Unity Hub editor, it’s likely because you haven’t installed that version of Unity3D through the Unity Hub in the first place.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to fix this issue:

  1. Open the Unity Hub on your computer.
  2. Navigate to the “Installs” tab in the Unity Hub.
  3. Locate the version of Unity3D that you want to add modules to.
  4. If the version is not already installed through the Unity Hub, click the “Add” button next to it and select the desired modules that you want to install.
  5. If the version is already installed, but you still can’t add modules via the Unity Hub editor, it’s possible that the installation was not recognized by the Unity Hub. In this case, click the “Locate” button next to the version and point Unity Hub to the installation directory.
  6. Once the installation is recognized by the Unity Hub, you should be able to add modules to the version via the Unity Hub editor.

It’s important to note that adding modules via the Unity Hub editor is only possible for versions of Unity3D that have been installed through the Unity Hub. If you’ve installed a version of Unity3D manually, you’ll need to add modules manually as well, either during the installation process or by using the Unity3D Package Manager.

By following these steps, you should be able to add modules to the desired version of Unity3D through the Unity Hub editor.
