- First, create or select the object you want to edit the UVs for.
- In the ProBuilder window, click the “UV” tab.
- In the UV editor, you will see a 2D representation of your object. The outer lines represent the edges of the UV map, and the inner lines represent the edges of the polygons in your object.
- To move a polygon within the UV map, click and drag on it. You can also use the gizmo in the top-right corner of the UV editor to rotate, scale, and move the selected polygon.
- To select multiple polygons, hold the Shift key and click on the polygons you want to select. You can then move or transform all of the selected polygons at once.
- To add or remove seams in your object, click the “Seams” button in the top-right corner of the UV editor. This will allow you to specify which edges of your object should be treated as seams when the UV map is generated.
- To unwrap your object and generate a UV map, click the “Unwrap” button in the top-right corner of the UV editor. This will create a UV map based on the seams you have specified.
- To apply a texture to your object, click the “Materials” button in the top-right corner of the UV editor. This will bring up the Material Editor, where you can create and apply custom materials to your object.
- To see how your texture is applied to your object, click the “Texture” button in the top-right corner of the UV editor. This will show a 3D preview of your object with the texture applied.
- When you’re happy with your UV map, click the “Close” button in the top-right corner of the UV editor to return to the main ProBuilder window.
And that’s it! You should now be able to edit UVs in ProBuilder.
